I was watching a PUSA video (yeah, you guys remember them?) and the lead singer had something weird with his guitar. Then it occured, those look like bass strings on a guitar. Maybe it was teh compression of the video, but i swear, there are 4 big strings on that guitar. Can anyone confrim that I am just seeing things????

For one of the videos, he only played with 4 strings on his guitar. He took off the other 3 because he didn't use them :p

A guitar has six strings, not seven.

My bad. I actually heard he took off 3 strings, leaving him with 3. That's why I got that ;) Forgot to note that.

Ever heard Korn or Limp Bizkit?? ;) Those are two current bands who use 7-stringers. Stand also uses 7-stringers (the electric guy, not Aaron Lewis). Steve Vai was a guy who really brought it to the forefront.

Korn I've heard of. I know not of this Limp Bizkit your speak of :p Staind I hate with a passion and refuse to listen to or acknowledge their existence :p Steve Via is a god. Never knew he used a seven string.

Yup, he did. I had this poster of Steve Vai on my wall. I thought his guitar was so cool because #1) it had seven strings #2) it also had a handle carved out at the top. For a 12-yr old, that was the ultimate in cool. ;)
