Can't say this is surprising considering the media is doing all it can to portray the aftermath of the Iraq war as a fiasco. You should also remember that the Wall Street Journal is nothing more than a liberal mouthpiece when looking at these results.

The last damn thing the Wallstreet Journal is is a liberal mouthpiece. If anything, they give Bush more credit than he deserves. The end of this regime can't come soon enough to suit most Americans, and the polls prove it.

Still have 15 months to the election. As Cad said, remember 1983. The public is fickle.

True, but it might be a trend. I can only hope.

My guess is they probably ran both those polls after his U.N. speech to see how it affected his approval rating. Pretty common coming into an election year that they take approval polls after major speeches...

:)

<satire>

 The survey, conducted by pollsters Peter Hart and Bob Teeter, posed questions to 1,007 adults from Saturday through Monday. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1 percent.

They polled 1,007 people. You can't get any type of accurate reading from only 1,007 people. It doesn't represent the 6Billion people living in the US!

Anyways, Bush's approval ratings are finally getting in line with his job performance.

lol

the ratings are going in the right direction but we still have a very ignorant 49% of the population among us. :(

I guess there might not be much hope for people who think lying about one's sex life to the american people is worse than lying to the world about an imminent threat that didn't exist and then creating a war out of it. I think cigars are more revered than lives to these people.

Well, at least FoxNews won't be able to say "the majority still support Bush." Although, with their spinmasters hard at work, they'll probably figure out a way. :)
