Presidential Poll Porn...

As of March 23-25

Rs
Rudy Giuliani 31
John McCain 22
Fred Thompson 12
Newt Gingrich 8
Sam Brownback 3
Mitt Romney 3
Tommy Thompson 2
...and everyone else

Ds
Hillary Rodham Clinton 35
Barack Obama 22
Al Gore 17
John Edwards 14
Bill Richardson 3
Joe Biden 1
Wesley Clark 1
...and everyone else

No real surprises I guess... Except one...

Where the hell did Fred Thompson come from???
Good lord. He leaps out of nowhere to be #3 on the R list? We'll see how long that lasts. Probably a testament to just how disorganized the GOP is right now.

Al Gore is #3 on the D list. I really don't think he's going to sit this one out. He might not officially declare until late but I have a hard time believing that he's going to sit this out when he polls like this. I predict he'll run.

Sigh.... I could really care less. I'm not voting for either person on this list. They are all of bunch of dirt bags...greedy money sucking maggots.

Are those actual candidates, who have thrown their ticket into the hat, or is this fantasy elections, where people are choosing who they would like to run for president? Reason I ask this, is I always understood that Rudy had no intention of running. I did not see where he agreed to run, nor was he nominated. Maybe I slept under that rock too long. 😉

BTW, Hilary will not be the first female president of the USA. It's not gonna happen.

It will be interesting to see if Bloomberg decides to get rid of some of his fortune. he currently has enough personal money to take a run as an (I). An Independent in the White house that is self Finaced. Sounds good to me and may be what this country need to break the partisan impasse. Plus the less Campaign contributions he takes means the less favors he owes

I don't really see Bloomberg or Gore running. Bloomberg because he knows he doesn't have a chance and Gore because I really think he just doesn't want it anymore. seems like he's a lot happier since losing.

Well, ericlp, who are you going to vote for?---maybe some one like Nader?

And please don't take it as a personal slam---in 2000 I was tempted to do the same. But when you come down to it, like it or not, one of the people on that sad and sorry list is very likely going to win the Presidency in 2008 and one other is going to be the failed nominee of the other major party. Often its not a matter of voting for someone, its a matter of casting your vote against some greater idiot.---sad--but true.

Per the link...
4. (Asked of Republicans and independents who lean to the Republican Party) Please tell me which of those candidates you would be most likely to support for the Republican nomination for President in the year 2008, or if you would support someone else.

5. (Asked of Democrats and independents who lean to the Democratic Party) Please tell me which of those candidates you would be most likely to support for the Democratic nomination for President in the year 2008, or if you would support someone else.
It's too early to limit the choices to just those who have officially declared.

Yes... Sad But True... And I know, I'm throwing away my vote (according to some)... It's either that or join the ranks of the majority voters in the country and vote "NO Vote"... That's even sadder I would presume. I have made up my mind and will never vote for a two party system.

If Gore wins do you think he'll buy carbon credits to offset his use of Air Force One?

I am sure he will, with taxpayers money, bought of course from his own company.
But hey, at least is trying, with our money.

Yeah, you slept too long. Rudy's been running campaign ads nationwide.

it might be Nancy Pelosi....

I think that Clinton will end up being the dems choice, as for the rebuplicans..... I don't think anyone, except for McCain has a shot....

Course, it's a long way to 2008.....
