Bush will mention that insurgents are terrorists (further trying to blend those distinct lines).
Bush will mention the upcoming withdrawal from the Gaza Strip as if he had a lot to do with it.
Bush will mention additional troops have been requested to fight the uprising insurgents and that our troops are performing admirably.
Bush will mention the war on terror is ongoing and the hunt for bin Laden and his Al Qaeda leaders is still underway and that Pakistan is a great asset in that battle.
Bush will mention Paul Bremer has been a great asset to establishing democracy in Iraq as an example to the rest of the Middle East.
Bush will briefly mention the 9/11 Commission hearings with a little blurb about the Aug. 6 memo and how he would have done anything to prevent the 9/11 attacks.
Bush will bring up the continued search for either weapons of mass destruction or the search for proof that Saddam was wanting to reestablish programs for WMDs (neither of which exist.)
Bush will also mention that our economy is growing strongly. This, despite the fact that the consumer share of the rise in the economy is barely on the radar. It's mostly coroporate profit as the increase in jobs is from part-time and lower-paying full-time jobs.
Bush will NOT mention that the British are becoming increasingly critical of the U.S. forces' methods of attack that result in civilians casualties.
Bush will NOT mention lack of ammunition our forces faced in trying to battle the uprising in Fallujah.
Bush will NOT mention that troops that were on the way home from already extended tours of duty were turned around back to Iraq.
In other words, Bush will try to paint a rosy picture of the U.S. economy, the war on Iraq, and the war on terror (oh wait...those last two are the same thing
)
