If you have to vote for President all over again today, who would you vote for?

This is obviously an Obama bash, I'll vote, but look, Obama will either succeed in the next 2 years admirably, or he will fail so hard that he won't stand a chance next election. There's no point in threads like these, just grab popcorn and enjoy the show for what it's worth.

Given the perspective of today, anyone has to be insane to think McCain would have done better.

Third Party both then and now. Republicans have not earned my vote.

Third party. Every day I'm seeing less difference between the two.

I think that the majority of Americans would vote libertarian/3rd party IE Fiscally conservative social liberal but most people just shrug off 3rd parties.

Everyone I talk to jokes about voting for a 3rd party as if it is "just throwing away a vote" but they tell me that their friends make the same type of joke. If everyone just treats 3rd parties as a joke, nothing will ever change.

If people could revote now I think Obama would still win, but by a much smaller margin.

A couple of the red states most likely would stay red this time too. Indiana and North Carolina perhaps Florida or Ohio as well.

In a real election Obama would be toast - burnt toast. Independents are running and not walking away from Obama

Need to bookmark this thread and revote in a year...

He'll be running about 46% support after another year of pure hell for the economy.

I feel sorry for the guy, it's not the average genius that asks to be president of a huge pile of shit that the economy of the US has been, it took us a long time to get this jacked up, it'll take a long time to deleverage this nightmare.

I guess he didn't see this shitstorm coming either. ;)

Hell everyone working on "fixing" our economy had no idea it was coming.

Well given that the only viable alternative for Obama was a Republican and seeing how fucking bad they were over the last 20 years I'd still have to vote for Obama.

I can't vote but wanted Obama to win. He's doing worse than I had hoped, but I still could never go back in time and want to seer McCain/Palin win.

Third party: Libertarian.

Fiscal conservatism, social liberalism.

P.S. I voted third party (Libertarian) to begin with.

I really wish a Libertarian serious - IE independently wealthy and able to essentially spend as much as the "big boys" - candidate would come along.

It's quite a shame that money buys power, and people seem to be a bit ignorant of alternatives.
