Presidential Debate: First bushism

President Bush gave a powerful showing on the debate, vibrant, energetic. I loved how he stared down the moderator on several occasions. 😀

He seemed Dean-esque to me.

Not a good thing.

The "internets" thing is going to become a ytmnd.com sensation.

IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE HE CAN'T SPEAK WELL!!!!!!!!!!!AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! TEH INTERNETS?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!

Its not a matter of speaking well in this situation, rather i think its a matter of lack of knowledge of what the internet really is. Now, typically that would be normal for someone his age, however he is president.
and heres something to help your sense of humor:

🙂

meh. he misspoke. everyone knows hes not a very good speaker- people think he does well if he manages to complete every other sentence. i thought it was pretty good when he gave the "need some wood?" line. kerry dominated this one in the issues, as always. bush continues to refuse to answer any questions about himself. he debates like an underdog, always attacking his opponent and never saying what he will do.

I don't think he just misspoke.

(From other "internets" thread):

It's not the first time he's said "internets"

Q: How can we protect children from inappropriate entertainment?

BUSH: You bet there?s things the government can do. We can work with the entertainment industry. We can have filters on Internets where public money is spent. There ought to be filters in public libraries, and filters in public schools, so that if kids get on the Internet, there?s not going to be pornography or violence coming in. I think we ought to have character education in our schools.

Of course, it's not like I really care. I wasn't going to vote for him anyway. 😛
