I thought I'd find a few more of these "Selectors" so we can get a clearer idea of the political differences here in AT P&N:

Once again we prove that if you ask the right type of questions, you get the candidate that the site is trying to promote.

Nice proof.

After scoring 100% Bush (!!!) using a different Selector, I thought I'd search for something that I felt was more accurate.

In my opinion, you should NEVER score 100% on one of these quizzes unless you wholeheartedly agree with EVERY SINGLE VIEWPOINT of the candidate you're matched with. After seeing at least a dozen 100% matches in the other thread, I was pretty amazed at how many "perfect" matches were made by the TIME/AOL Selector.

What I like most about THIS Selector is that everyone is given a *theoretical* 100% candidate match, followed by a "best fit" percentage (mine was 65% Bush using this technique). That means that, theoretically, there is a 35% "mismatch" between my political beliefs and the "best fit" candidate, which seems to me to be MUCH more accurate than the TIME/AOL method.

I could only find two other Selectors (other than this one and the TIME/AOL one), which were pretty weak "match-the-quote-with-the-candidate" type quizzes.

Care to suggest any alternative Candidate Selectors?

I don't think I've managed to get over 30% for Bush on any of these "select your candidate" tests.

That does not surprise me with Howard Dean being so high on your rankings. They are almost polar opposites

That site was just a tiny bit biased... There wasn't an answer I could agree with for about half the questions. That site is obviously trying to push a neocon agenda (which is perfectly fine, as it is their right). I would prefer a 3rd-party candidate over any of the asshats in the two major parties currently running for office, seeing as how they'll be less likely to worship Satan if they're not part of the establishment...

Has anyone been able to find one of these yet that isn't horribly, horribly biased towards either party? I have yet to find one...

They don't exist. This one was so badly positioned to the left that it tried to equate Iraq with unilateral.;)

I think the test is broken or something. I agree with the positions of Kucinich much more than Dean, Clark, or Sharpton easily. Especially Clark, how he ranked so high from this test is beyond me....
