Why can we not get rational and reasoned debate like this anymore in the political arena with real down-to-earth politicians who understand what the people are dealing with in contemporary times?

Seriously though, this is a vintage 80s edit way before youtube, but it would be a curious country now if we had a reasonable drug policy back then would it not?
