I just seen on TV the photoshoot with President Bush and the turkey that will be served up on Thanksgiving.

I wonder what PETA thinks of this annual tradition?

And what do they eat on turkey day? (Perhaps roasted potatoes with some sort of vegetable gravy???)

Do they consider a turkey an "animal?"

Personally my mouth is watering for some juicy turkey and all the fixings. :)

Do you really have to wonder what PETA thinks?????

I hope they rally around here so I can throw turkey guts at them.

I remember reading a while back that when PETA protested at some school a bunch of guys got together, formed the club "Students Who Have A Clue", and held a free BBQ next to their protest and handed out free burgers to all passersby.

Thats what we all need to do.

I seen a boat load of wild turkey up around Sutter's Mill.

Bush and the turkey..... What a concept. I'm going to start chopping celery for stuffing pretty soon.

They put out a $1000 reward in Bloomington, IN, because 7 racoons were found skinned. They thought someone skinned them alive.

$1000? They could just donate that to a homeless shelter. What good would it do to put some hunter in jail?

I hate PETA. I hated them when I was a vegan.

CNN reported the wild turkey population is doing quite well even out east. I say let Mr. Bush eat one.

Hasn't the turkey been "pardoned" by the president since Johnson was in office ???

In England recently, a Google search could prob come up with the story, 2 guys from PETA were at a middle school protesting the drinking of milk by children. One was dressed in a cow suit. They were attacked by 40 or so middle schoolers who drenched them with cartons of milk while chanting "Milk For Everyone". The authorities were called to rescue them.

The guy in the cowsuit said he had never seen anything like it. Said the kids were hostile and misguided.

:D

haha, call me dumb.

But I know some people consider turkeys as birds.....and birds as not being animals.

I was never quite sure about the correct classifications regarding that kinda of stuff.
