Kamala Harris agree's with Tim.
America isn't a racist country. In fact, its founding principles are the most non-racist of any country that has ever been. That said, America is also filled with tens of millions of racists who are actively trying to turn America into a racist country, usually under the false pretense of patriotism.

They are just playing semantics. No, America is not by definition a 'racist country', but it does have a lot of systemic racism in it still. Tim Scott is just trying to play with words to gloss over the reality of the situation because without a bunch of racist white Trumpy voters, he is toast, and so is his party.

They can all eat shit.

BTW America's founding principles codified racism into the constitution. It's pretty fucking racist.

Progress is by definition incremental. If our ancestors failed, that doesn't mean that they didn't try. You wouldn't want people 200 years from now to think we were all Trumpists, would you?

I was hoping he would send US Marshals to arrest state house members voting for voter suppression in their home states. Nazis have no place in our government. Ship them to Guantanamo and let them vote their way out using ballot boxes in 100 feet of shark infested waters.

Hopefully that's what's happening but he doesn't know about it. That's the way it's supposed to work. They do their job and he does his. ;)

I remember when great talent like Billie Holiday had to move to Europe to escape American racism. And the incredible talented Nat King Cole was actually attacked on stage by whites after Cole's sang what they claimed was "white music". But as for Tim Scott, THAT I will never understand. I don't know why any black man or woman would align with the republican party of today. After the Floyd thing and the many other recent cop killing of Black men, and add into the mix the obvious distaste republicans already have for groups like Black Lives matters, It was soooo apparent that republicans would roll out someone like Tim Scott. I guess if a black republican is denying to the people the blatant republican party racism, then it's ok and not racist.

Tim Scott is damn lucky. If republican had their way Tim Scott would be serving dinner at some white family's table. And his wife caring for the white family's children while ignoring her own children. We all know which side republicans would align with if slavery were in effect today. Republicans would consider slaves as property and wealth just as they do their cars, homes, and jewelry. If Mitch McConnell owned slaves today and Joe Biden wanted to grant slaves their freedom, do you really believe that slave owner Mitch McConnell would give up his wealth or consider his slaves as human and not simply as personal property and personal wealth? Or the same for Lindsey Graham? Or Ted Cruz? Or Kevin McCarthy? Luckily, Abe Lincoln did Joe Biden's job for him because imagine if Joe Biden had proposed the Emancipation Proclamation today? Does anyone really believe that senate republicans would go along? Can you imagine Sean Hannity willing to give up his slave wealth to what he would call LIBERAL SOCIALISM? No.... we all know exactly how this would go down if slavery were in effect today and republicans in the house and senate were the way they are today. Plus, that all of those republicans also owned slaves. Come-on people, don't let them fool you by rolling out Tim Scott to do their dirty work believing that no one would notice.

Why does one have to be even black? Any decent and only slightly intelligent person should be able to see how the current GOP is an utter disgrace. History won't be kind to any of them. This even includes the Romney's and Chaney's. Sure they crossed the aisle to condemn the horrid acts committed. But they are sure still dividing a nation by not even supporting the plans Biden is proposing.

What countries are not a racist country? Name a handful, so we can laugh at the absurdity of this.
Where did I say that there weren't racist countries? I don't know enough about every countries' laws and the applications thereof to decide if there's no country that systemic racism exists.

He's certified step n' fetcher.
Personally, I have trouble speaking for how black people feel about another black person who seems to have been fortunate in his dealings with white people to feel way he does.

Just so I understand. Republicans sent out the black one to tell people the party that...

Tried to start a White Nationalist caucus
Said they are comfortable with white insurrectionists but not with black ones
Who's leader called African countries, shithole
Who's leader retweeted groups chanting "white power"

isn't racist??

Really??? And you wonder why Uncle Tom is being bandied about.

you have to wonder what the GQP promised him if he would get on national TV and explicitly lie to every single American like that.

I mean, it was beyond the pale. "Here, black man--go tell them that the rest of us aren't the obvious racists that we clearly are. We need you to do that, or you ain't getting no more support from the majority of racists in your state of extremely racist SC."

No, it doesn't. I agree with her and Tim that America is not a racist country.
you are what your people are.

If you don't agree that a lot of people in this country are extremely racist, then you're a fucking idiot.

I heard something from Michael Steel 2016 or about. He said when he was running the RNC members used to ask him to go out and speak to black voters about their policies.
Steel said “No, but I’ll tell you how to do it yourself”
All or nearly none who asked did what he advised.

I really don't know why that man won't give up on that party.

Kamala and Tim said that America isn't a racist country. And I agree with them.

Please quit interjecting your fantasies into what I say.

Thanks.

You're talking to a racist that thinks his level of racism doesn't count as racism at all.

Unfortunately I've started having a lot of the white guys start saying racist shit (while bemoaning that people call out racism) to me like they assume I'm fine with it.

My eyes really got opened to racism when I went to a tech school that was half black and half the whites seem to be from NC. Couldn't even keep their mouths shut in that situation. Several ugly incidents.

So it doesn't bother you that you frequently espouse extremely racist "opinions" around here? You know, opinions that are always acceptable because you say they are opinions and therefore perpetually immune from criticism?

And this right here is the epitome of the stupid left.

Simply having an opinion you don't agree with doesn't make it racist. Simply having an opinion that you don't agree with doesn't make them a nazi either.

Simply throwing blankets on everything around you is just going to be a surefire way to continue on with more Trump elections. The adults roll their eyes at you, and we win elections because were not children that simply calls people ridiculous things like racist, sexist, nazi, <insert extremist word>
