I am looking into getting a pair and was just curious if anyone had a pair and what they thought of them.

I have handled them, though I do not have a pair. Frankly I can't see paying for them, since they are SO expensive, and all Iridium lenses are rather easily scratched. I would go for one of the other brands, all of which seem to allow you to use a separate insert for the prescription lenses, so that they can be transferred if you ever ruin the glasses.

I have a friend who has a pair and they were VERY expensive. However, the warranty on them is simply awesome. He has sent them back once for a scratched lens and they replaced it free of charge.

I was going to go the same route, but decided to just use contacts and get a normal pair of Oakleys. I love them! :)

yep, that way is good.

also many of the better frame makers sell specific clip-ons for their frames, they look pretty good

I have thought of getting contacts, but I am big wuss when it comes to coming close to touching my eyes:) How long did it take you to get "used" to it?

Clip-ons are a PITA in my opinion. Strange light refractions between the lenses, plus the tend to fog up/get sweaty faster since they sit so close to your face.

I've got a pair of prescription wraps from Zeal Optics. You get three sets of interchangeable prescription lenses (clear, hi-vis yellow, and smoke) for about the same price as one set of prescription Oakleys. I've had mine for about a year and love them.
