Ok, I just bought a 2.8E with Corsair Value 3200, 2.5-3-3-7, 5:4 with Iceburg Copper Heatspreaders(yea I chould have gone higher but money saving is my 1st priority). As of now I'm at 3.2C (1.41v) and ram @ 2.7v. My HSF is a Gigabye 3D cooler. I'm on an Abit IC7-G MaxII. If I clock to 3.3-3.6, hardware fail within a minute in Prime95, and I've adjusted up to 1.51v. Where could my hickup be? My temps are 48 idle and 63 load @ 3.2, at 3.6 idle was at 58 and load 69. I can't imagine its the ram since the FSB @ 5:4 for ram is only 183.

i get about the same overclocking results on my 2.8e (i can run 3.3ghz with 1.5v)
similar temps/voltage and everything
that just might be the limit of the chip with your current cooling and stuff
