presario 1685 and windows 2000?

hi guys.

ive acquired a free presario 1685 and im wondering if windows 2000 would be the right os for this badboy.

here are the specs:

k62-380mhz - 512k cache
64mb ram
4.3gb hard drive

it will be used for general use, nothing to crazy. should i go with 2k, or just use 98?

Try and get some more ram. With 128MB, I wouldn't hesitate to recomment win2k. It'll still be a bit slow though.

I agree, go with Win2k and get yourself some more RAM:
