Just like some others said... if you plan on doing "anything" that night... don't drink too much and leave the reception a bit earlier than planned.

For the room: Bottles of water (important)... if you are having fun, drink water to stay hydrated!!
Champagne/favorite wine
Chocolate covered strawberries
Perhaps a very nice piece of lingerie for her... white lace and satin but naughty in a box with a red bow sitting on the bed.
Candles (even just a few would be ok) Also, is there a nice bathroom in the room? someplace you could put some very nice bubble bath and massage oil?

Remember all the stress you're going through now? The flower deliveries, the reservations, the catering the.. yada yada yada.. That night signals the end of all of that.. What do you need? Some expensive champagne/wine and.. nothing else.. i mean that.. nothing else.. turn off the light.. rip off her clothes.. enjoy it. no need for rose petals or sented oils or candles.. FVCK.. and enjoy it.. You two earned it.

wait, you're GIVING YAGT type advice? the end of the world is nigh!

Yeah, I have nothing against freedomsbeat212 really, but one doesn't take the Pope's advice on condoms either.

For the record, Lola has the best advice so far. She'll probably be grateful for a bath...

Truly, it is the nicest thing to get out of an uncomfortable dress and heels after dancing, standing for hours on end greeting guests, etc and take a bath with your new spouse. That should relax her and revive her a bit too!

Call ahead and have the hotel draw the bath for you, it's the Ritz and your honeymoon, I'm certain they'll do it happily.

Exactly... just make sure there's a bed there and a change of clothes for the next day.

I don't think my wife and I did anything but lay down and pass out on our wedding night. lol

Bottles of water

Lola beat me to it - having a few bottles of water on ice is critical should you be planning to be, errr, up for a most of the night.

That is what everyone told us too, but we still mustered up the engery to consumate the marriage... so don't think you can't have fun after the reception.

This man speaks the truth. I didnt have any of that fancy sh1t the night of my wedding, we were so damn tired after the whole event... just keep it simple.
