Back story
Lawenceville Plasma Physics made another big splash, once again courtesy of Google (solve for X, Fusion), and they are looking to capitalize on it to get funding to finish their fusion feasibility experiments.
The last brush with greatness , care of Google, was in 2007(google tech talk).
Try to avoid the urge to disbelieve merely because it sounds too good to be true. Don't lump it in with cold fusion. This has proven science, they are not trying to cover anything up, they are the most open with their techniques and results, publishing them for peer review. They tell you what they did, and the results.
