have a cousin who's too young to get a regular CC, I asked a general question a month ago and was directed to the ones a lot of supermarkets sell for like gift cards. Doing a little reading online it seems some are better that others, and some down right suck.

they will be using it for:
buying shit online
getting gas
not too sure what else.

some don't seem to work well online because they're not linked to a physical address that can be verified (this is what I've read)
and I know some don't work at all at gas stations, again maybe because it's not tied to an address and gas stations usually ask for zip code to verify. I'm guessing some cards you actually give them your info, so it works exactly like a debit card? This is the type I'm after. They're looking to load up whatever money they make from their job and use it for pretty much everything. Looks like a lot either have a monthly fee, a re-load fee or both. If they're going to load it a few times a month I'd figure a monthly fee one would be best. The big thing for them is being able to use it online hassle free and being able to pump gas with it.

anyone want to recommend a brand? I see Green Dot & Rush Cards at the local store.
