I'd be in for one since this is basically at MSRP... However, there is a complete lack of decent, not super expensive conroe mobos out there, so I'll probably have to keep holding off.

the MSRP of $316 is for retail, isn't it? Of course, currently no retailer is selling the conroes at MSRP while demand is through the roof. The same goes for the mobos, however scarce conroe-compatible ones there are.

I bit on the retail box last week when it was scheduled to ship today. They didn't get their shipment in. I was told that they were looking at a new shipment date of the 18th or earlier, so I'm crossing my fingers. In the mean time, I need to find a P5W DH that isn't totally gouged.

Right, but since the retail heatsink is crap (compared to the nice ones that ship with AMDs), I'll be getting a new heatsink anyway, so it makes no difference to me.
