I am running a really old 7896A from addtronics http://www.addtronics.com/Extra96.htm

It was excellent when it came out, but sadly a bit lacking now in modern cases. I have been working with a HAF 932 recently for my Dad's build and it was really nice.

I had to run out to a TigerDirect today due to my Samsung F3 dying out of the blue (i had a post in Gen. Hardware about it...oddly no SMART issues)...and was looking at the obsidian 800D and the Level 10. Both are pretty nice. Some of the other Silverstone cases looked really good too.

I'd like a full tower. I'd like casters if possible. If I can get it close to 28" tall that would be ideal as my 7896A with casters can be worked on under my desk, but not removed from it without taking the casters off. This was the only PC in my house that survived a burglary two years ago because of that.

I am currently high-end air cooling, but may delve into something self-contained like the Fuher or H60/etc. I don't think I want the maintenance of a full water rig and I am willing to give up the few FPS.

I recently added a Cisco e4200 (replaced the WRT320N listed and a E3000 I was using prior), G700 mouse, a seagate 7200.12 replaced my Samsung F3, that's not listed...this shouldn't really impact the 'case'.

I'd want USB 3.0 upfront still though. I'd be willing to case mod. I bought my first dremel 10 years ago, it's still unpacked and waiting for the right project.

j/k...I have been through 4-5 now 🙂 Yes, I am sure brushes could have saved a couple...but at the same time they keep improving the tool.

I have donated/sold my old ones.

What about the Lian Li PC-X2000F? There's a new one with USB 3.0 up front and is still a pretty big case...
