was going to jump on one of crucial's PC2100 256 for ~34, but then saw this. How's the quality of this stick compare to crucial. I already have a stick of crucial's PC2100 256 in my system, thinking about getting another 256.

did a quck search, but didn't find anything, sorry if it's a repost

editdidn't check the shipping

Dunno if its a repost or not. Cant tell you about quality either because of one thing.....two times before I had ordered PC133 for computers a couple years ago. I got two different brands of sticks. One I dont remember, the other was simple tech. They both ran at cas 2 despite there cas 3 rating. So all in all, it was okay. Its up to you. Many people here will scream tigerdirect is terrible. I really havent had too much problems. In fact I called them once at 11:30pm and cancelled a double order...guy was very nice. Cant believe he was still there at 11:30 at night!

One's a crapshoot, the other you know what you will get with great certainty. That's how they compare :)
But I'd bet a dollar that Crucials is going to OC better...or be more stable without OC.

Now for your mom's computer, sure! go cheap :)

It says it must be postmarked (the rebate) 14 days after purchase date, not after delivery date. Anyone have experience with the speed of TD's delivery?

TigerDirect delivery?

Product delivery is OK.

Unfortunately, rebate delivery is highly suspect. On at least one other product, numerous people didn't receive their rebates when they were supposed to. TigerDirect blamed it on the vendor. :frown:

Good luck!
