Hey guys, got this off of fatwallet. Seems like an incredible deal: Premium PC2700 SODIMM Great if you want to upgrade your lappie (especially if you have an M680x model and don't want to fiddle with second slot ;) ). Most 1 gig sodimms run a minimum of $250 even at the egg. I'm not sure about the quality but i ordered one anyway. The price was just waaayyy too good.

::Edit:: Overclocks in my M6805 just fine. Have the CPU (1.8ghz) running at 2ghz.

And I just had to go ahead and spend all of my money on two 512MB sticks...my Powerbook would have liked this!

so far this stick is working flawlessly in my M6805. 1.25GB! Runs Doom 3 much nicer now! I haven't tried overclocking the cpu from 1.8->2.0 yet. The hynix chips that come with the notebook are sweet.

The chips are not labeled. They came IN a static bag that says Mushkin but I doubt this is mushkin build. It has a sticker on one side that says "Legacy Electronics, Inc". The other side there's a sticker with "99L5KDG0-1PDG M2697 1GB 128x64 PC2700 CL2.5 DDR". It would've been kinda dodgy but like I said, been running it for a couple of days and runs perfectly so far at default settings. Absolutely no problems. And for $150 it's a crazy deal.

It still seems to be working, but the link from AT doesn't seem to work for some reason, I had to go through outpost's special deals section to get it to work just as an FYI

Hrm link seems to work now, Site may have just been hit when I got in on the deal, currently on my M6805 I can hit 2ghz np w/ my 2 OEM samsung sticks so hopefully I'll be able to keep my OC when on AC, but even if I cant Doom 3 and esp. Everquest will run much better w/ 1.25 gigs of memory, my M6805 is only 4 months old so I'm not really to keen on voiding the warrenty yet by puting the stick in the internal slot, @ this price I ordered 2 lol for cas 2.5 PC2700 so dimms that will work in the M68XX series of laptops this is about $105 bucks cheaper than the Transend stuff from NE thats the only other moderatly price stuff I know of, I basicly got 2 gigs instead of 1 gig for only $35 bucks more, my fathers X1000 will go up to 1.25 gig as well, should be a nice upgrade for him too and I've had fairly good luck ordering stuff from outpost.com in the past too so no worries there. :), Just need to save up the cash for a 7K60 now so I can get rid of my 4200rpm 80GV drive
