The more expensive one (sh?) has some pimp-ass steering control system. I believe it changes the camber angle on the outside wheel to have it more flat against the road. Either that or uses traction control while handling to give better control.

I'm not really sure. In fact, why did i answer this post? Anyway its one of those two :) I think its the camber...)when a car tilts the wheels are not flush against the ground as much, so changing camber would re-sit them if the car is leaning).

I thought it was just the tiptronic thing which determines S vs SH.

but that camber stuff would be cool (if it was true).

Guess its the first one - active torque thing :) Serves me right for listening to a guy at a dealership.

The SH model has something similar to a limited slip differential, well it is a LSD except its electronically controlled instead of using gears or viscous liquid. It's called the Active Torque Transfers System. Personally I find the HLSD or VLSD better because its mechanical rather than electrical. I have also heard that if you are going thru a corner and one side of the wheel lifts up while spinning and if it touches the ground while spinning it can damage the LSD and even break it. Apparently this only happens with ATTS instead of VSLD. I'm not sure on the accuracy of that claim.

note: the ATTS only works on the front axle (the two front wheels).

If you wanna know what it does, it basically sends power to the wheel that has the most traction. It helps you exit a corner faster or even get a good launch.

The older Preludes, previous two generations, had 4-wheel steering where the rear wheels would turn at low speeds to help cornering.

What the dealer told Skoorb is actually used on the current and previous Altimas (not the 2002). It's called passive steering, the rear wheels would toe in during hard cornering to better stabilize the car. I do not know how effective it was however.
