PreInstall Drivers for Clean XP Install

I was just curious if there is a way to Preinstall the hardware drivers (Before OS Install)
MB / Sound /Video /Ect Ect

that way when the OS searches for drivers for your hardware during the install process it already has them on the hard drive

Can this be done ?
How would i do it?
Does it work with any OS?
any special file type? - Batch file?

I know i would have to Fdisk and Format the drive first

what os will you be installing?
you could partition your drive and keep the drives on one partition and install your OS on the other. Seems kinda crazy when lets say XP comes with most needed drivers.....

You can "slipstream" anything you want into an installation of xp.

Just look it up on google.
