Preferred online retailers?

I am in the market for a new mb and cpu and am having some trouble picking an online retailer. I plan on getting a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum mb and a AMD 64 3200+ Winchester core cpu. Despite the issues winchester cores seem to have with the Neo2 board I want to give it a try. However I am skeptical about many of the online retailers I have found and would like some opinions. Would anyone recommend Newegg or ZipZoomFly? Or perhaps somewhere else?

Any U.S retailers that ship to Canada?

Or Canadian retailers besides : NCIX, Vibecomputers, and tigerdirect?

Try Advanced Search > Archived Threads > "Canada"
there have been several Canadian "where to buy" threads this year.

newegg. outpost when they have those kick@ss deals. pcsupplysource.com is great too, they ship fast and have pretty good customer support. look at their reseller ratings.

I've used Monarch who ship to Canada and had good success. In Canada I have used pccanada.com, and they were very good.

I just ordered the MSI Neo2 Plat from Staples of all places. Item # im1e24895. They pricematched to ZZF with no problem. I got the board for $129. I tacked on some FAR stuff and used a $20 off $150 coupon. My total after I get the rebates and sell the FAR stuff on ebay will be $ 80 for the board. I ordered the 3000+ from Newegg.

Other S939 mobos from Staples:

Abit AV8 im1d88934
MSI Neo2 F im1e24621
MSI Neo2 FIR im1e24620

They can't order ASUS or Gigabyte, but who would want a Gigabyte board.

They do carry tons of Intel boards.

If you want the part number go to Sparco.com and do a search. You can only special order items that start with the letter "A". To get the Staples item number simply drop the A and reverse the next 3 digits and then the next three digits. For example, the K8N NEO2-PLATINUM number is a42e598. So my number becomes im1e24895.

I have been reading posts and am trying to come up with a new computer. I do not care to do a dual SLI and no need to overclock but I do want a great gaming computer.

From what I have been reading I will go with the following:

CPU: AMD 64
MB: MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum NFORCE3
VIDEO CARD: 6800GT

19"or larger LCD flat panel

Can anyone give me specifics on which video card brand and which monitor to purchase?

I already have a full tower case and Enermax 550 PS

I will also be upgrading HD and SOUND CARD and speakers

Thanks.
