Preferred mobo for P3 700e @ 933+ ?

I'd like some opinions about this before I go out and buy something.
I have a nice P3 700e guaranteed by Compuwiz1 to do 933. He likes the Asus CUSL2-C mobo for these
and I am inclined to go with that but I thought some of you would have some ideas, pros / cons, likes & dislikes and any suggestions are welcome. I tend to try to stay with a mobo a long time so I would want something that will last me a year anyway.
I like the softmenu on my BH6, but would like to be able to make finer adjustments to the fsb and voltages. Of course being able to keep the PCI at 33mhz is a must, but having 4x AGP would also be nice.
Please make some suggestions. 😀
 
CUSL2/CUSL2-C is a great board, that's what I'd recommend. As long as it's i815E it will work, but if I were to buy a board off of that chipset I'd go for the Asus.

 
I would go with one of Intel i815 based boards over BX or VIA133a. BX boards are great but you have to overclock the AGP bus as they do not have 1/2 AGP setting. VIA boards can cause some headaches.

Asus boards seems like a good pick. I had Abit SE6 and worked pretty good. I hear the MSI board is pretty good as well.

If I ever buy another one, I would pick Asus or MSI.

Onvia has the MSI board in stock for $110 shipped which I think is a good deal although lately Onvia's stock status is a little fishy.

Here's another vote for the Asus.

I would also recommend going with a 815 chipset over the BX. I'm presently running all three of the chipset mentioned above. The BX chipset is extremely fast at 133, but I prefer the extra FSB tweaks the CUSL2 allows. This is a good way to go if you are staying with Intel.
 
I don't know the specs of your old Abit board but as long as it has a 1/4 PCI divider and voltage support for a Cumine, I would keep it. So what if it doesn't have supper small FSB steps, just set it for 133/933 and be happy. The GTS cards all seem to run fine at 89mhz FSB and 4X is no real benifit at this time so this should not be a huge consideration. Save your money for a major upgrade, not a small one. Good luck.
 
i have a 700e@933mhz cB0 and it runs excellent on the asus CUSL2-C. rock stable and stock voltage 1.65v the msi 815pro is nice, but the power connector placement is real bad.
 
I have my 700e@933 cb0 1.65v on a CUSL2-C running seti non stop with ZERO lockups, a SOLID motherboard.
 
Thanks all, I went downtown yesterday and picked up the Asus CUSL2-C. I got just as good a price as I could have got online (shipping versus tax was a wash) so I decided to buy locally.
I'm attempting to get it set up now.
 
That is exactly the reason I went with the Via133A boards. I am yet to get a single problem with any Windows install on these boards contrary to what others say. The I815E is really not much of an upgrade from a BX133. My Soyo 7VCA and MSI 6309 are cheaper and is now comparable to the BX/I815E.
