Why doesn't this argument hold up in traffic court? I didn't see the speed limit sign so no crime was committed.

Don Jr's defense for the Trump tower meeting was he didn't know he was committing a crime.

Speeding tickets are infractions so they don't operate by the same rules and you have way, way fewer rights. For example you are not innocent until proven guilty with speeding tickets, the standard is only a preponderance of the evidence.

Exactly, Mueller felt that Trump Jr. was so naive and stupid that he couldn't establish intent to commit a crime.

Trying to explain things to UC is like trying to explain particle physics to an infant.

The infant just stares at you blankly and then leaves another load in their diaper. UC's replies are diaper loads of determined non-comprehension.

I think he's too egotistical to not try for a second term. I think he was surprised when he got elected, but now that he's there, he knows he can pull strings and even if he can't get 'a wall' I have no doubt his family and friends are profiting from him being in that position.

Trump does not drop out prior to midnight 11/3/2020 (spelled for no confusion November 3 year 2020 at midnight) conceding the election does not count as dropping out, however he’ll never concede. If he drops out before the previous date I will send you $150, ideally some sort of gift card would be easiest but I’ll pay what you want except cash, can’t mail cash.
If the President does not drop out by the previous date you send me $150. Amazon or Newegg or even steam gift card is preferred.

Except I’m right on this. Welcome to reality. Become Hillary or Trump and you’re untouchable. We can keep pretending something is gonna happen to him just like the right pretended something would happen to Hillary but in the end nothing but charades will occur.

Shouldn’t everyone who didn’t commit a crime be untouchable?
 
If you drop the Hillary rhetoric, he's probably not wrong. I think even if you caught Trump with his hands around someones throat, on video, with audio, and a 100 eye witnesses, it would still be an uphill battle to get a guilty charge and jail time out of him.

If it was a charge like that, I would agree with you but financial crimes are something else. They're about math which doesn't add up and where did that money go.

Hillary for all her stupidity didn't get charged with financial crimes but as we know once the government sees somewhere financial numbers and tax numbers are out of order, they generally don't blow that case.

It will be an uphill battle, of course. Nobody claimed otherwise though.

What I said was that he faced non-trivial odds of indictment, which is true. This is something no president other than Nixon has faced and I’m very confident he is aware of this.
 
I would bet anyone here a significant sum of money that Trump pardons himself or has Pence pardon him if he loses in 2020. It’s because he’s worried about exactly what I’m saying.

OP, don't know what you're smoking but no way he's going to resign, not unless the guillotine is hanging over his neck like Nixon. He might decline to run, that would be face saving. His face is such a mess, any face saving he can do would be beneficial.
