Predictable thread alert - XBox or PS2?

What are the most 'mustahave' games on either platform? How many are multiplayer?
And is it possible to link multiple units together or is putting multiple controllers on one unit the only option for up to 4-player action?

Neither. The PC is the best gaming platform. Here is why: Mods. The original games are good, but the mods based off of those engines are even better IMHO and are usually freely downloadable off the net and make for greater replay value as well.

Note I am not crapping in your thread, I'm not anti-console, just stating my opinion. Besides, you do realize the flames will be hotter when the XBOX vs. PS2 fans come blasting in here.

i haven't really played that many games for either system, but i have played gotham racing for xbox. great game for ps2... gt3 is pretty fun. as u can see, i like racing games

GTA3, GT3 for ps2. probably a ton others

halo for xbox

madden and thps3 are best on cube according to the devs, but they are must haves regardless of platform

xbox can link units together, must have more tvs though

ps2 only has 2 controller ports built in, which is annoying.
