Predators at War

If any of you have On Demand, check out the National Geographic channel. There is a documentary on what happens in Africa during a nearly 2 year drought. Predators end up facing off against each other. Wild dogs vs Hyenas, Lions vs Leopards, Hyenas vs Cheetahs, Lions vs Hyenas, Hyenas vs Hyena, Wild dogs vs Leopards. It was pretty awesome. The cameraman is pretty amazing. He has been filming these predators for well over a decade. He gets within feet of them and is able to scare off a pack of Lion huntresses at night time looking for prey. He is also able to get within feet of feeding Hyenas.

Sad thing is the plight of the Cheetahs. There are only a few hundred of them left in the wild and they are at the very bottom of the pecking order. It is awesome to watch them run though, to bad they will probably be extinct in the wild very soon.
