But if a black person says something derogitiry towards a white person it Racial pride. But if a white even says the word black, instead of African-American he's a racist.

Sadly this type of thinking is what perpetuates stuff like this. Calling a riot a rebellion is just more PC nonsense.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but what exactly is the issue here? I mean, it's pretty obvious that blacks were rioting for no good reason and perpetrated racially motivated hate crimes against Whites. (Not that I see ANY validity at all to "hate crimes", but when one side isn't playing fair, I'll gladly re-direct their own tactics back against them.)

What is there to debate?

I was there when that nonsense broke out. It WAS A RIOT.
Unless they were rebelling against Korean merchants, liquor stores, furniture outlets and camera shops.
I live in Simi Valley, where the trial was held. We are in Eastern Ventura County, just over the line from L.A. County, which went gonzo bananas when the ?Not Guilty? verdicts came out. My neighbors and I spent the next three days, armed to the teeth, playing an aggressive form of neighborhood watch (with the tacit approval of the local Police) and CB channel 22. I found out there were about fifty groups of residents cruising the streets to keep them safe. While L.A. burned and descended into a third world nation, we did not have so much as a trash can fire. Community involvement does work.

Your right, there isn't really anything here to debate, this is so more people know about it.

Its not being covered on a wide scale like a group of white kkk kids on a street corner could be.
 
Out of fear of being banned, I'll just simply say this - events like these DO NOT help garner ANY respect for your "cause".
 
Here's an NPR story for anyone who is interested in some of the background Cincy. I was born in Cincy and lived just north of the city until I joined the Navy. My parents still live there. Obviously very bad race problems there with plenty of blame to go around.
