I was in one of the student lounge at my university today and this pastor guy had a meeting with a bunch of Asian women (in their 20s and 30s from South Korea, Japan, China, and Hong Kong). He told them to talk about their personal lives. "Anything", he kept stressing. One of the women told him that she had a long distance relationship. Strangely, he jokingly asked her if she hears a female voice on the other end of the line when her bf calls. I was surprised when he said that. Towards the end of the meeting, he told her to date other guys because her bf was too far away. At the end, he told them to come to the church anytime they want and his door is always open. He's married and he and his wife are part of some international program.

This guy is part of a church on or around campus and I was surprised when he said these things.

Sounds more like he was encouraging her to dump her LD boyfriend. Stupid thing to do when you don't know anything about the relationship.

WOW that was a complete jump to a conclusion....you got that he supports infidelity out of that??????? If you jokingly told said to someone "you're on crack" would you want someone jumping to the conclusion that you support drug use, or that you use a lot of drugs yourself?

Saying it once is a joke. Stressing it again in the form of "date other guys" is going to bit too far. This was their first meeting, IIRC.

I think you have jealousy tendancies to the alluring conversations the pastors had with the womens.
