Who was your favorite wrestler, and your favorite line (ex.. If you smell...... what the ROCK..... is COOKIN') ?

I gotta go with...

Sting (black/white Crow)...

97 Starrcade...

The Nature Boy..Ric Flair! Still going after all these years.

"To be the man..you have to beat the man!" "I'm a limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing, wheeling-dealing son of a gun, who's kissed all the girls and made them cry."

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Hulk Hogan.

"He'd do whatever it took to get to the top."
"Yeah, that's why he used those... stair-oids."

I have watched since it was WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation).

I miss the wrestling of the 80's; so cheesy but entertaining.

King Kong Bundy: Five!!!

😀

Sting was awesome back in the WCW days ... late 80's and early 90's. Then there was the Lightening Kid, Ravishing Rick Rude, Vader...man those were the days.

Bret Hart. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

I haven't watched wrestling in years.

Anyone remember "Royal Rumble" for SNES? Damn, I must have rented that game once a week. Still don't know why I didn't buy it.

But it had all the greats in there:
Mr. Perfect
Yokozuna
The Undertaker
Razor Ramone
Brett Heart
Rick Flair
"Macho Man" Randy Savage
Tatonka

Lol, thinking back, I even remember all of their special moves.

Yea man..back then it was all cheesy yet fun and filled with characters. Truly a comic book come to life. Now they all try to be so serious and its hard to take now. WWE rots and so does Vince McSatan.

I miss ECW

Some fun Bobby "The Brain" Heenan quotes (he's a true old school classic! No one today comes close!):

Bobby on the Ultimate Warrior: "This guy makes coffee nervous."

Bobby Heenan commenting on Hulk Hogan's entrance music
Heenan: "That's my second favorite song."
Gorilla Monsoon: "I'm almost afraid to ask. Whats your favorite?"
Heenan: "All the rest are tied."

Bobby Heenan on some Jobber: "I once asked him what came at the end of the sentance... and he said "parole".

Bobby & Gorilla on Chico Santana:
Bobby: Did you know Tito holds a place in Guiness' Book of
World Records?
Gorilla: Yeah? For what?
Bobby H: He picked 1,600 heads of lettuce in 1/2 an hour.
Gorilla: Will you stop...

"You know why there were only 220 Mexicans at the Alamo? They only had one car."

"Tito Santana is like a cue-ball. The more you strike him, the more english you get out of him."

omg I totally remember watching that now! Oh well...man those were the days. I agree with your assessment about wrestling being too serious and soap opera-ish now.
