Pre-prom party music?

So I've got a pre-prom party at my house in a few hours, and I'm trying to come up with some music. I've already decided things like Rob Zombie and Megadeth probably aren't appropriate, so what does the Anandtech Community think I should play for my guests?

Oh, and I just realized the irony of this post.
 
whoa! my prom is tonight to, i was just making a mix for the limo ride....John Mayer, Incubus, U2, Autopilot Off, Jimmy Eat World, Moby, Our Lady Peace, Moby, Dave Matthews...
 
Oh! And BTW, The Buzz 2CD set is an awesome mix. For my prom we listened to the entire collection 2 or 3 times through.

That's what I thought at first, but his profile says Atlanta ... I have friends in Marrietta that go to school from August ==> May, so Prom would be in April for them ...

btw, did anyone else read that as "Pre-pron party music?"

We go to school Mid Aug==>Mid June normally, seniors Aug==>End of May.

Our prom varies... From the middle of fvcking April, as it was last year, to the freaking week before graduation at the end of May, as it is this year.

I almost fell off my chair when I read that...which is impressive as it has arms.

Thanks for your suggestions everybody. I especially like the Sir Mix A Lot one, actually I think I might throw it in...

I promise people will like it in a silly way, especially if there are females in the crowd. It always gets a fun reaction whenever I play it for a group. But I try to stick it somewhere in the play list where they'll least expect it.
