I believe I saw a post about this but can't find it. My wallet is missing right now so my debit card is gone with it(it's somewhere in my house, no one stole it).

Are there any sites that offer pre-paid credit card #'s that you can fund with your bank account? Thanks.

Have you considered a secured credit card? Or are you specifically trying to avoid true credit cards?

If you're going to use credit card #'s you might as well gain credit history for it. Just pay it off in full at the end of the month using direct transfer from your checking account.

Viper GTS: I'm just looking for a temporary fix until I locate my debit card. I'm also only 16.

WebCertificate doesn't allow you to find your account with a bank account.

You could use Paypal. They accept deposits from your bank account and you can shop at every store that accepts Mastercard.

PayPal requires you to be 18.

Have you ever used your debit card at a site that would keep it on record?

You might be able to get the info from there, are you trying to order something online?

Of course a normal course of action would be to find your wallet. The effort you are putting into finding such a place makes it look like you are up to something.

The last time I remember seeing my wallet is when I went to BestBuy on black friday, but I didn't even buy anything so I must have brought it home. My house has been under construction and because we have a small house it's been a mess.

bozo1: Do I really sound suspicious? I'm so anxious to be able to spend money online because I got money deposited in my checking account to buy my christmas presents. In my family we buy what we want for christmas and just can't use it until christmas morning.

If I don't find my wallet soon i'll just report my debit card as lost and get a new one. It'll take awhile to get a new card though.

im sorry bozo, but how does he sound suspecious? or how does he sound up to no good. c'mon its not that easy to gain access to someones checking acct and then add it to the pre-paid credit card. they take more measures then just knowing the acct number + transfer number. I'm sure they verify it somehow. Possibly by depositing money into the acct and you having to tell them how much they deposited like paypal?

BTW, I think AMEX has something like this, or it might be a discover card. I'm not sure but my friend had one and it was connected to his checking account.

Amex had the Cobalt Card but pulled the plug. Try a google search. Or, if you wanna get your folks involved try visabuxx

<< Can't you just get a Visa Checkcard from your bank? I have one, and I'm 16. >>

I have one, problem is, it's missing right now and getting a replacement will take a while.

I believe you should be a little more worried about finding your wallet than trying to find ways to spend more money without it.
