Skimming over my debt bills, noticed that citibank is pushing their "cashcards" for students and such. Figured it might be a good way for some of our members to get the functionality of a credit card without amassing any debt. You load up the card with money from a checking/savings account or other credit card.
"Teach your kids money management and give them more of the freedom they want with Citi Cash Card, a new pre-paid card. You set their spending limit, they get the convenience of a MasterCard card. Enroll at www.cashcard.citicards.com"
Would be cool if somebody could send $30 to one of our members in return for a pre-paid "credit" card that they get in the name of the person who wants to subscribe.
This isn't so much for me, as I've pretty much already spent my next 4-5 years of income. DOH.
