Is it as simple as turning off PC -> swap SATA connector from 1 or 2 to 3 or 4 -> turn back on and system will boot just the same as before???

I ask because i've heard it mentioned that for Overclocking purposes on an NF4 board like mine i need to be using the non-fixed SATA ports...?!?

thanx all

My NF3 MSI board worked that way. I installed XP on my Raptor using SATA-1 and then read that it should use a different connector so I just moved it and everything worked fine.

On my mobo, all SATA ports are locked. I use all four SATA ports and my system is oc'd 24/7.
