Just ordered my ti4200 from simply.co.uk, its the gainward golden sample 128mb version which is guaranteed to run at 250 / 520 with its o/c utlity. Now I just have to get a gpu block for my koolance case, shame they dont do memory sinks which are watercooled 😀
 
That`s a nice UK price,if I was buying one now it would be at the top of my list,lucky I can wait a little longer,have fun with your Ti4200 when it arrives.

Considering its the 128mb version and its guaranteed to at least hit 520mhz core I think its an excellent deal, some UK site are still trying to sell geforce 2 ultra's for <£300
 
You should have no problems,I`ve ordered from Simply lots of times and their service has been excellent,let us know how high you can OC it.

yeah, simply is a good company - you'll have no problems with them.

Nice card too! I'll be sticking with my geforce 1 sdr for a while though, seeing as the only PC game I play is day of defeat (um, and I just got a gamecube and can't stop playing monkeyball 😀 😀 )

sorry, i just realized XP has nothing to do with Golden Sample.
but it worries me even more, this card could be a TV + non Golden Sample !! Since it hasn't mentioned neither.
 
Sorry I am sure it mentioned 128mb somewhere will have a look around, although either way its a good price in the UK.
 
Sorry if this has been asked before, but what exactly is a "Golden Sample" and why is it so much better than your average card?

The golden sample comes with gainwards overclocking tool which offer an 'enhance or overclocked mode' basically this mean that the card is guaranteed to run at a higher speed. nullnew review
 
Sorry to put a damper on things but this card from Simply is the 64mb non Golden Sample version. Still a good card and will probably overclock the same as the Golden Sample, it's just not guaranteed. I think this one also is not VIVO, it only hasd the Video out function, not the Video in as well.
The XP is the 128mb Golden sample. You can check out the details on Gainward's website and also the Euro Prices - XP(4200ti 128mb VIVO GS) is 349Euros. Non Xp(4200ti 64mb) is 249Euros.
 
I dont understand. Why don't buy a Point of View GeForce 4 Ti4200 128Mb for 245 USD? 😉
I don't get the point. What is so special about Gainward's card?
