Remember, Asus TI 4600 clocked higher than other vendors.

Not all TI 4600 are $500, Visiontek and PNY 4600's and 4400's available @ BestBuy, EBWorld, GameStop for $399 and $299, respectively.

I thought Gainward was going to have the highest clocked Ti4600. With memory at 750???

I believe Gainward runs stock speed, but you can use their "enhanced" mode to overclock it.

Here is a picture of the card, btw.

I may pick one up (When GF5 comes :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D ). Anyway I have never paid over $140 for a video card and ain't about to start. My next upgrade will be a GF3 Ti200 and then a 17"/19" monitor of some kind. Oh and I need a bigger HDD. Hmmm need so much stuff with just little money :(.

Not sure on the GF4's, but I just picked up a Gainward GF3 Ti200 128mb and it came overclocked out of the box. It was set @ 200/450 without using their drivers or the "enhanced mode".

Jeez, you'd think for $500 Asus could afford to put on some ram sinks?

My local computer shop has MSI Ti4600 for $600 CAN (so around $400 US) in stock... so I guess that's the avg price for Ti4600....

Another reason why I avoid the products from this stingy company.

'Coz it's in BGA format, no longer the standard RAM chips. They run cooler and therefore, don't need any additional cooling.

If Asus has only one flaw it's price. Their products are always at least as good as the rest.

Hopefully Jedec will go this route with official pc2700, too. Wish they'd get moving on that.

I dunno'... I think they cheap out too often for a high-priced board. Eg: The V7100MX card I purchased almost two years ago had the WORST 2D desktop I've *ever* had the misfortune to encounter... it went back promptly to be replaced by an ELSA GF DDR. ELSA did the job right where ASUS failed miserably. For less money too.
