Pre-order goodies for Gears of War 2

Three retailers have revealed their bonus offers if you pre-order a copy of Gears of War 2 with them. First, we have Blockbuster, which is offering a copy of the first issue of the Gears of War Comic by DC/Wildstorm, featuring an exclusive cover. After the ad break you can find a picture of it.

If you pre-order Gears of War 2 at GameStop, you'll get an exclusive Gears of War 2 Xbox 360 theme created specifically for the New Xbox Experience.

Last, but not least, Best Buy is offering a bad ass remote control version of the Centaur tank for free when you pre-order the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2. Kotaku obtained pictures of the in-game Centaur tank:

Dood, that is fvcking sweet. Although I'd have a hard time justifying what is in essence $80 for a plastic toy gun. (If you consider the game is $60)

I'm very fearful now of these limited edition stuff. Microsoft/lionhead studios just removed stuff from the Fable 2 limited edition. Citing "supply chain" issues. Only 20 days before it releases. they pulled the figurine, fate cards and tin box.

That said the remote control tank does tempt me. with it being only 70 bucks for the GOW2 at BB I might go ahead and get it.

It looks like Amazon.com is offering a $10 gift card with pre-order of the standard edition (they have this deal for a few games, actually). I think I might jump on that.
