my firend pointed this out to me. seems like a cool gadet but not something i would invest $499 on as it doesnt seem to be the most portable thing on the face of this earth
 
They're smaller than most portable dvd players...that said, they're expensive, DRM'd out the wazoo, and I don't have any movies on my computer anyways. Maybe if it comes with a nice, quick, and easy dvd>wmv ripper, I'd bite. Even then, I wouldn't see myself using it much. I'm happy having a hd based DAP.
 
Isn't it annoying how they list the specs for the Creative one in inches and ounces and then they list the Samsung one in millimeters and grams?

They are pretty big and bulky, but they still fit in my pocket, snuggly

The battery life on the samsung only lasts 3 hours for video playback :Q
Heh it was kinda funny when the microsoft rep mentioned DRM, everyone boo'ed.
