Pre-Moded Case For Sale

Inwin A500 - highly reviewed by arse technica, overlockerz, OCP, etc.

There is a large in-take hole in the bottom of the front with two 120mm panaflow fans stacked together, and a 90mm blow-out hole on the top of the case near the back, directly above where the cpu would reside. So the cold air flows in from the bottom, and the top fan blows the rising hot air out. You can actually feel the warmth of the air coming out of the blow hole.

All the holes have been fitted with black rubber mouldings and have an anodized aluminum grill on them. The front in-take hole also has additional dust filter placed between the fan and the grill.

Because of the rubber moulding and the black aluminum grills, it looks very clean and professional, not like a hack job.

All fans are panaflow fans. They are the quietest fans around. The grill and the filters also help to reduce the fan noise.

The 120mm fans on the in-take hole has been stacked on top of each other to overcome the added resistance of the dust filter and the grills.

With this set-up, I was able to overclock a celmine 533a to 920 MHZ using a golden orb.

Price breakdown:
Inwin A500 - $50.
Panaflow 120mm X 2 : $15 x 2 = $30
Panaflow 90mm : $12
120mm Anodized Black Aluminum Grill : $12
90mm Grill: $9
Dust filter holder: $8:00
Filters (5 replacement filters): $5.00

Total: $126. (plus I paid about $30 in shipping from various sources)

I'm selling these for $79. I have two of these cases.

Please email jk1999@mailandnews.com

Thanks.

Do you have any pictures posted?
the quality of the holes, and mod are pretty important

thanks =)

I don't have a digital camera, but I can take a regular picture and then scan it for you if you want. It'll take a few days for procession.

I didn't want the case to look like a hack job, so I took the extra time and care and money to get the black grills and rubber mouldings. It looks very professional. The rubber trim goes around the hole and covers the edges, and the black anodized grill is mounted from the backside.

Anyway, I'll take a picture and try to get it processed soon.

The reason why I am selling is because I don't need the cases any more. I have two computers. My wife's company is give us a new computer, and I decided sell the pc and get a MAC instead, mostly because she needs it. So, I'm selling both of them.

So other items are for sale as well such as the celeron 533a FCPGA CPU, Soyo 7VCA mobo, several hard drives, etc. I'm going to put these items on eb@y.

might be worth posting in the for sale/trade board(if you haven't already) especially for the celly 533A, you'll get a lot of offers for that 😉
