Alright ladies and gents...

I just installed a fresh fresh fresh copy of XP Pro and all the newest drivers - also added a couple tweaks...what are the optimal settings for 3dMark03 and PCMark04?

This is all I can think to do:

1) Fresh reboot
2) No desktop wallpaper
3) 3D Settings on all performance

any other ideas? maybe CPU priority on the bench prog?

Hi.

It depends on a few things..

If you have an Intel Rig, you can disable HT. I also disable sound card, as you don't need it. Alos shut down any programs, that you have running in the background, as these all use up resources.

You can overclock your vid card, and CPU,this will add to performance a great deal.

Using Tweak programs such as NVHardpage, Coolbits, ATITool etc.. These allow you to access hidden tweaks for your vid card etc.

Just experiment and remember, small steps, dont overdo it.
