you know those book pcs @ newegg.com and directron.com, they all are Intel. Anyone know of a retailer that has prebuilt book or net pcs that are AMD?

thx

I haven't had any big projects lately... I could make an AMD briefcase PC for you.

BookPC is a PC-Chips thing, which AFAIK are not available in socket A due to the higher power requirements of amd chips (Book PC PSUs are like 75 watts or so). They might be pre-made at come big store, I am not sure.

Tuna Boo is essential right- the average BookPC has a very limited PS. They were available in the K6 series, but are unavailable now. You might do a search- this topic was discussed a few days ago (in the last week) about "rolling you own" Book Sized Duron PC
