If you got anything or anyone who needs praying for, or if you're just in a rough spot in your life, post your prayer request here. Sapasion started a similar thread over at SharkyForums, and I think it's a great idea.

I hope you're wearing your asbestos suit. Soon, the anti-Christian bigots will be swarming in upon you.

Whether you offer prayers, thoughts, or whatever, my 5 year old cousin just went back to the hospital after they found another tumor in his eye. Please keep him in mind.

Well, you don't have to be Christian to pray. I just believe in the power of prayer, and if people have a problem with that, then that's fine. I'll pray for them too.

/flamesuit on.

I dunno what the problem with praying is. It has been clinically proven that people who have others praying for them tend to recover faster from sickness and injury. Now it may be attributable to good karma etc or it might jsut be the power of positive thinking but whatever it is i haven't hear of nayone harmed by prayer.

GTaudiophile - I applaud this thread and hope it does stay flame/rant/abuse free.

Note to Elledan and anyone else who objects - JUST LEAVE IT ALONE. Everyone knows your opinions.

I'm not the praying type, but if you could add my GF she could use all the help she can get. She's trying hard to get her life together and it's an up hill battle from here. Thanks.

Lord, All I ask that is that Britney Spears be delivered to me. And she be my willing servant.

I promise in return to be a wonderful human being!

Done, Tauren!

I have a really good female friend who couldn't be in a worse situation in her life. I can empathize.

Good idea! If you get flamed, well... I'll pray for the attackers (I'll at least pray that they learn to have some class and taste when posting!) :D

I'll keep this thread bookmarked and check it for those in need. I may not post here again, but rest assured that there are many (including me) who will take the time to pray for those in need.

Prayer is something that transcends religion... it is the heart that speaks.

Edit: LOL @ fir3wir3!

Laughter is also very healing. ;)

Wyvrn, if you can, pay for her to get a professional massage (by a woman of course). My mom did this for me a year ago, and since I had never been that relaxed before, I never knew I could be that relaxed. I got all sorts of tips on how to sit, breathe, and lay down to make my life a lot less stressful.

This prayer goes out for my federal tax return. May it get processed quickly and have a check sent out in a timely manner so I can buy a new MB+CPU+soundcard.

Can you pray that all the christians wisen up and become athiests?

HEY! At least I didn't pray for some angry god to come down and kill everyone for not believing in him. :)

Optimus

I would have left this thread alone if it weren't for you.
You know that I don't bash any customs of any group in society, so there's no need to warn me not to do it.

Personally, I think that meditation can accomplish much more than 'prayer'. If the whole world-population would meditate reguarly, things would look a lot brigher.

I don't think that prayer helps much, for its positive effect (AKA Yin) is severely limited compared to that of meditation.

But I won't object. Do as you please, I won't flame any of you.

Actually there are many degrees of heart murmurs - I have one that has never caused me any grief, and my daughter seems to have inherited it too. The docs classify ours as "slight" and they seem to be benign. Other levels of heart murmurs can be more serious, likely as Wyvrn's wife's. She is in my prayers, wyvrn.

I'll add to the thread that I am praying for someone very close to me who has been having some health worries of her own lately.

Please pray for my kitten Banshee. He has a lump on his neck and the surgery to remove it is expensive. If anyone's interested I can post his pic so you have a face to go with a prayer.
