he said he was against the war, but i don't recall any threads calling bush an evil socialist because of the tax money he spent to do it.

i think some of you don't even get the concept of taxes. hell, some of you probably can't grasp 2 + 2 = 4.

edit- not to mention, YOUR TAXES AREN'T GOING UP ANYWAY. the best evidence for a 'tax increase' that you can come up with is that there might be new taxes on energy and the medical industry, which of course affect you personally. we should go back to giving tax cuts to the corporations, because we already proved how well 'trickle down economics' work, didn't we?

Which is your opinion. But I forgot, yours is the only one that counts.

His opinion is spot on!! Why don`t you elaborate on why Obama is deserving of the same amount of crap that Bush brought on himself???
What did Obama do that warrants the same amount of crap?
Let me guess...Obama is black...oor as some would say half black...
Let me guess Obama is our first Black president....
Let see...ah...Obama did not bring our men and women home from the middle east on his first day in office....
Obama inherited this mess from Bush and now that makes Obama wrong....

Okay-- I see alot of reasons....lolol

I'm a harsh critic of the current crop of Dems and Obama and BTW I don't give a shit if he's purple. The race card makes you look dumb.

and pretending race relations in this country are hunky-dory makes you look exceedingly ignorant.

maybe come up with some real, legitimate reasons for hating the man that aren't based on distortions of the truth or double standards, and people could actually take you seriously and not just assume you're a bigot.

I don't hate the man, I hate some of his politics and those of his fellow democrats that happen to control every facet of government right now with the exception of the SCOTUS. The race card is plain stupid. There are plenty of things to dislike about this administration, none of which have anything to do with his race. I don't care about his race.

Only morons and political hacks assume someone must be a bigot just because they don't like the policies of one president or his party.

i havn't seen one argument on this forum that legitimately attacked policies. just scare tactics based on fallacies and cut-and-paste opinion pieces.

Now that Righties can't win at the ballot box, having tripped over their cranks, screwed up everything they touched over the last 8 years, they're pretty desperate. Basically, they're advertising for an assassin, as if killing Obama would make it all hunky-dory again...

Introspection, self examination, isn't their strong point, that's for sure. Most wouldn't have any idea what that means, at all. The whole concept is too scary to contemplate. They just know they're right because their world would crumble if they found out they weren't, if they found out they've been chumped for the last 30 years or so... That pill is too big and too bitter to even think about swallowing... So they rave, mindlessly, so as to avoid the truth about themselves and their heroes...

It seems to me the 'righties' did quite well in the last election. 2010 will be the ultimate test.. but if went like 2009, things might not be so good for Obama and Pelosi.

Of course we all know what you mean by "Legitmate".

It is only "legitimate" in the sense that you agree with the argument and it shares your leftist view point but otherwise it doesn't count.

no, 'legitimate' as in based in fact and makes sense.

there are people on this forum who are very intelligent and capable of posting well thought out arguments that i do not agree with. you are not one of them.

So who are those people who are on the right who have made "legimate" arguments against Obama and his administration?

that's right, a republican can use five words to 'prove' anything...

no, what he's doing is taking these two lines-

'i havn't seen one argument on this forum that legitimately attacked policies. just scare tactics based on fallacies and cut-and-paste opinion pieces.'

'there are people on this forum who are very intelligent and capable of posting well thought out arguments that i do not agree with. you are not one of them.'

and somehow combining them in his head to say that i'm acknowledging some of the far-right spewings as 'intelligent.' i am not. see, his only definition of 'differing opinions' is 'left vs right.'

the enemy of your enemy is not, in fact, your friend. since the republican party has to clearly point out an antagonist and unite in hate against him to function, they do not understand this.

What's infinitely humorous is that this is the first time I have seen the loony left put something into context so they could feign outrage.

Coming from someone that can't capitalize the first word in a sentence this doesn't mean...anything.

This coming from someone who can't put a space between a word and the ellipsis that follows said word.
