i have an asus v6800 geforce256 in my 800mhz athlon rig. this system is actually in my friends house, but i go there, i play CS on it. well, today i was poking around in the nvidia advance properties menu and i disabled vsync and enabled 2x fsaa & enabled anisotrophic filtering. i noticed a nice fps jump from 60-90... and the fsaa & af really smoothed the blocky edges i was used to seeing 
i run CS at 800x600... should i try 1024x768? man, i love old video cards... hehe... they are cheap and.... well... cheap and good too
