My girlfriend interviewed with an elementary school a while ago. During the interview they asked her if she was certified under Bush's new "High qualified teachers". She said no, but got information on how to get certified and is now taking classes. She called and told her that she is currently taking the classes and that she will be qualified at the end of the summer.

She got a call today from the lady she interviewed with (I think she's the principal). Anyway, the lady actually called twice, once around 12 and again around 5:30. She wants to interview her again tomorrow!

That being said, as everyone knows the economy is terrible right now. My girlfriend quit her job in Atlanta (at the end of the school year) and moved back home with her mom, hoping that possibly she'll have a job at some point.

Will you guys pray for God to give her guidence and for Him shine through her?

consider the prayer request done. I'm a teacher too (HS Biology) and i know the stress fo the interview process.
