I have a damaged (for one reason or another) Pioneer PDV-LC10 portable DVD player. The problem is there is no sound when a movie is played, from the 1/8th video/audio out jack or from the 1/8th headphone jack. I wanted to know if there is any way I could salvage or fix this. The picture on the screen is still perfect. Could there be any way to repair the audio, or somehow circumvent the problem? If not, how hard do you think it would be to take the LCD screen apart from the rest of the unit? The screen is still great and I could just remove it and use it for another purpose with another dedicated audio solution..
