I have one of those, use it all the time, and it works like a charm. It's plug and play with win2k and winxp, so no drivers needed for those OS's.

That's a nice price for a reader of this capability. However, the shipping cost might kill the deal since (for me), it would run a little over $10 to ship.

Back to the reader itself: it's great. It's small enough to slip into a shirt pocket and if you're running Windows ME/XP, you don't even need the driver disk.

Before I go on, according to the manufacturer's web page for this reader, it's actually a 7in1 reader. How they get that number, I'm not sure.

Another thing, I wanted to point out is the "16 MB ~ 128MB (Optional)" part. Comparing the part number at Googlegear with the web site indicates that you won't a flash disk version.

Anyways, I have the 6in1 version that I purchased from NewEgg and I think it's great.

If you have a need to access different kinds of flash memory, especially when you're out and about, I think you'd be very satisfied with this (assuming the 7in1 version works as well as the 6in1 version). The only drawback is the lack of a embedded flash memory but if you don't need it, I think this will serve you well. :D

FYI:

The PQI travel flash CFI/II/SM/MMC/SD/Memory stick/Microdrive "6 in 1" reader, same as above link, I got from Fry's ($29.99) will not read 128mb MMC. It won't format it to 128mb, but only 30.6mb just like the specs say. And even then, it won't be readable.

Bought the PNY travel flash "5 in 1" (no memory stick reading) from Best Buy ($32.50) and the 128mb MMC worked again.

BTW, PNY 5 in 1 is considerably slower in the CF read/write section than my SanDisk though. Need to find a better multireader.

Thanks
