PQI 3200 Turbo RAM (see AT A64 memory review)

i did NOT expect sitting here for days just to decide what memory would be best for my upcoming S939 A64 3500+ which i plan to overclock.

My MAXIMUM budget for 1Gig (2x512MB dualchannel) is about $200. (+/- a few bucks)

I read the anandtech A64 memory review and most of these modules are out of my range. I wonder whether i should get the PQI Turbo 3200 which they mention in the review and its still reasonable priced.

Btw. there's some confusion..is the PQI turbo identical with the PDP/Patriot memory ?
PDP/Patriot

ALso, i am looking at the OCZ Performance 3500 series
OCZ 3500

i am confused (even in the AT review) to see PC3500 memory together with PC3200....eg. in the review they show the PQI Turbo 3200 memory running at DDR570 claiming its stable with the mentioned timings etc.

x285(2.57GHz) HIGHEST
Performance
570 DDR 3-4-3-10

570 equals a 'FSB' (ok, HTT actually) of 285, they even have it running at 298.

The ram (PC3200) is rated at 200 !!! SO...does this mean this PC3200 ram has 50% overclockability (wholy cr*p.....) and OUTPERFORMS certain other PC 3500/3700 etc. brands even if its 'only' PC 3200 ???
I always thought its better to get eg. PC 3500/3700 etc...

Anyone please give me advice regarding A64 3500+ overclocking (yeah i know, we will have an AT article soon 🙂 )...and nice ~~$200/1gig ram for it ?

thanks

Basically all the new 2-2-2-5 RAM is made of RAM chips that can be used to make DDR 500 RAM. For marketing reasons the RAM is sold as 2-2-2-5 DDR 400 RAM with lots of OC headroom insted of DDR 500 RAM with higher latencies. Most people don't need DDR 500 RAM and so 2-2-2-5 DDR 400 RAM sounds better to them even if it's the same as higher latency DDR 500 RAM.
As for the RAM you listed, I have never heard of "Patriot" but the OCZ looks like a good deal.
