Was using an 80g drive and backing up to a different 80g drive. PQDI worked fine.

Now am using a 160g drive as the "master". PQDI tries to make an image file, after rebooting, but after a few minutes fails with an "error #3 - not enough memory."

Any solution?

The odd thing is that is worked fine until the larger drive was installed.

Some of those ideas they offer are really grabbing at straws, so I was hoping someone had the problem and solved it.

You know you can also get free email support for your product from them as well.

Here's a Cut and Paste from the support documentation. Addresses the situation somewhat differently than their website. This assumes you are running the program off the Rescue Disks.

#3 Not enough memory
The DOS Drive Image executable running under DOS requires a minimum of
400KB of memory in the first 640KB of the computer's address space
(conventional memory) and 8MB of total memory. If you don't have enough
conventional memory, see ?Freeing Conventional Memory to Run Drive Image?
on page 2 for possible solutions.
The boot diskette (disk 1 of 2 Drive Image rescue disks) includes EMM386.EXE
to help load network drivers in high memory. However, because this file limits
extended memory to 32 MB, you may see error #3 when you run Drive Image
from the rescue disks and work with large FAT32 and NTFS partitions. If you do
not need EMM386.EXE, you can delete it from the bootable floppy to avoid this
PowerQuest Drive Image 7
error. If you delete the EMM386.EXE file, you must also REM or delete the
following line in the CONFIG.SYS file on the boot floppy:
DEVICE=EMM386.EXE.
