PQ Drive Image 2002 not creating images

I receive a 1805 error when I attempt to create an image (about 75% of the way through when it's writing the image). I'm using Windows XP, NTFS of course, and I'm trying to write an image of the boot partition to a second partition which I set up specifically for PQDI images.

I managed to create an image of a fresh, basic install with PQDI, but it won't let me see it in ImageExplorer. I get this message:

Error 1810: Image file could not be accessed.

What am I doing wrong?

Here are a few things which might be of help:

Error 1805 Write Failed

Running a PARTINFO

Also, when saving the image file, be sure to stick the the 8.3 Dos file naming convention
(i.e. Image001.pqi - no spaces or extended characters)
